My Philosophy & Way of Life

Raised in Germany by a Slovak mother and Croatian father, I am a Kundalini Yoga teacher in training at 3HO in Munich living between the Island of Krk and Ulm/Munich. I hold an academic degree in Literature and Cultural Studies and have worked in German Automotive Industry.
My interest for ancient philosophies and Yoga became apparent in my mid twenties after a difficult phases throughout my life, which affected not only my mental health but also my emotional and physical. A redirection and shift in values was necessary as I realized that I could not continue my life that way. Since then I became devoted to my inner journey, understanding my conditioning and the themes my soul chose for this lifetime. As a woman who grew up in the West I fell prey to hustle culture and the idea I need to prove myself and my worth. The more I allowed my soul to step in and guide me, the more I realigned with my natural rhythms — my menstrual cycle — and find a forgotten ally and teacher in mother nature.
My relationship with my body has been very complicated. Compulsive eating, dieting and eating disorders have been present throught my life until my early 30s. What I miss in Western philosophies or the Abrahamic faiths is our relationship with our physical self and we are not taught in schools or anywhere else what a major work the body does for us. It remembers our past and has been with us since ever supoorting us through ups and downs sinch we were born.
